How to Follow Only Who are Following me on Twitter

Today I have un followed people who is not following me on twitter, and followed all people who are following me, I do this some times when I have a chance using Tweepular, it’s a great application that help me to do that b one click.

I was following 2001 person on twitter, and I can not follow more of people who I am interested on them. So I remember it’s time to use Tweepular to do the job for me, so I can follow the people who are following me even if I reach the limits of my followers.

After I did the process now I have to stop following more than 750 person. I can’t say those people don’t deserve to be followed, I am only trying to organize my followers list. So.. I am sorry for you guys if I have to un follow you. OK! I am now following only 1801 person. And it’s time to check those who are following me but I am not, and show some love to them, I am telling you I am going to follow you all so go a head and follow me now @hishaman.

My Followers at the moment are 1496 1613 person, so let’s see what will happen after tweaking and editing my lists of followers.

How To Compete Limited Godaddy File Manager Archiving Tool

In one of my successful posts I have talked about how to Unzip a Compressed File on PHP Server, and how I did it by a nice script that I found. On this post I am going to tell you about another valuable script that I found, the script simply backup your website and provide you a link to download it to your computer, this could be used for different reason when you develop websites.

You can use this script in two ways, the first on is to Fully Backup your website Code, and the other use will be when you decide to move your website to another hosting and compete Godaddy file manager limited archiving file size.

Over the last few days I’ve been working on some online project, it was a dynamic website, using one of those CMS open source code that I love to work with. I was having a testing hosting server for my client’s website, now it’s ready to go online and to be published on the client’s hosting server account.

Unfortunately I couldn’t backup all files on the server, Godaddy file manager is limited to archive 20 megabits only and the website code exceed this size. It’s more than 30 megabits. Of course I could go for compressing folder by folder, but this will take the whole work day rather than doing mistakes and you start over and over again.

Finally I found the solution for this problem thanks to Web Hosting Hero and it’s Great Hosting Tutorials.

Go a head and Download Godaddy Backup Zip Archive Utility.

Although this script was originally developed to backup my GoDaddy website, it can probably be used with any Linux / Unix web host.

How To Use The Backup Script

Extract the PHP file from the Zip Archive Utility to your local drive.

Edit sitebackup.php using a non-formatting text editor such as Notepad.

Enter the password you wish to use to protect the script and save the file.

Upload sitebackup.php to the root of your website through FTP.

Open your web browser to http://www.yourwebsite.com/sitebackup.php

Enter your password in the text box and hit the Backup button.

Do not close your browser window. When the backup has completed you will see a link to download it.

Once you’ve downloaded the backup, delete fullsite.tar.gz from your website using your favorite FTP client.

Namechk: The Availability of a username or Tracking People?

Sometimes we wanted to check the availability of a user name on a social network before we register, I am going to tell you about a nice tool that will help you to check the availability of user names on 112 different Social Networking and Social Bookmarking websites at the same time and at the same window.

This nice easy to use tool called Namechk, I have tried it and since the first second I notice that you can use this tool in a complete different way!

Of course not all people will think of it this way, there is always other ways to think about something specific, I will tell you what else you can do with this tool!

Another way to use Namechk is to check a specific username and know which social networks and social bookmarking websites he signed up and have an account on it. Of course you have to know the username of someone to check it.

That means by using this tool you can find out some useful information about a person and tracking him if you know his usename.

Convert Flash Executables EXE files to Flash SWF

Some times I got a flash .EXE files from my clients who wanted to publish it on the internet, so.. rather than asking them the source files and waiting for their reply, I would prefer to have a tool that convert .EXE files to .SWF files that I easily publish them using the simple embedding code into web pages.

I found this great tool at Northcode, you can download it from the website, This tool will help you to convert Flash executable files to .SWF files. Double click on it to run the program, a brows window will open for you to choose which .EXE file you would like to convert, choose one file and the tool will convert it for you in the same directory the original file was, this is really good tool and it work fast.

How to Extract ZIP Files on FTP Server using PHP?

I was having hard time uploading CMS files to the server to install it, but finally I found this great script that works fine for me, now I can FTP the zip files, and then unzip them easily in no time at all using the unzip script.

Overview:
This application is useful when there is a need to upload a many files with complicated directory structure to web server, for example, forum systems (like phpBB) or other applications like phpMyAdmin) which consist of many files arranged in complicated directory structure. All you need to do is to upload the archive file and PHP Unzipper will take care of creating the correct directory layout and file extraction. This program is especially helpful when you don’t have FTP access to web server but generally it will be helpful in all cases when there is a need to upload many small files to web server.

Network assessment services help companies run their IT resources smoothly and efficiently.

Installation:

Upload files index.php and pclzip.lib.php to your web server (of course, put both files in the same directory, also you can rename index.php to whatever you wish)

CHMOD index.php to 777

Open index.php in your web browser, it will ask to register first.

Type in the username and the password

Now you can login and start to use the program.

Note: username and password are stored in the pass.php file and they should be absolutely inaccessible to anyone except you. If you ever forget/want to change them, just open this file and they will be there

Usage:
Everything is as simple as possible here:

Browse through directories and look for zip files.

Once you find a zip file you can either view its contents or unzip it. If you choose to view it, file listing will be displayed. If you choose to unzip it, the archive will be extracted in the same directory.
