Could you kindly translate your website into Italian because I’m not that comfortable reading it in English? I’m getting tired of using Google Translate all the time, there is a cool WP plugin called like global translator which will render all your posts by default- that will make reading articleson your great blog even more comfortable. @n3os, You mean to start your own social network? if so, then there is so many open source applications that you can use, for example: - Elgg the one I am using on Making money ideas social network. - also you can use Joomla with CB plugin. - another thing is to try Drupal. plz search on the keywords on my comment and you will reach more information about it. good luck!

I have found that it’s more about sparking points of conversation and unique content that adds value over feature sets. My biggest complaint is that my community is too much like facebook (at a glance), and why do they have to keep up with two social networking sites.

My biggest complaint about elgg (and it’s not really a complaint. per se) is that they have the profile mechanisms correct, but lack in the ease of content delivery, like better communication tools in groups. If they could somehow integrate into threaded messages, and private messages, they’d have the right formula for truly dynamic community starters.

@ alone – You are right, but in some cases more options make your members more confused about what they should use, so it would be a better idea to run what is needed to make your community at the best fit!
