by on February 7, 2009

I have started to create my own direct advertising system for my blogs, I have published one advertising page already on one of my blogs, and I would like to share with you how to create advertising page for your website or blog. This kind of smart pages, you will find them on high content pro blogs, those blogs have good traffic and they are really making money from sealing ads spaces.

Advertising pages gets the attention of advertisers and online marketing companies who wants to advertise for their clients while they make their research, so when they find my blog it will be very useful to show them the way in, and help them o take their decision more faster.

When I want to add or create something new and effective for my blogs, I always search for high content websites and blogs, and read some examples about what I am up to do, so this help me with the ideas.

The first thing you should do before start telling your visitors that you offer advertising spaces on your website or blog, is to be sure that your template have a good advertising space. Basically the advertising page should contest on some basic information:

  • Short discretion about your blog.
  • Information about your traffic and page rank.
  • Show advertiser what they can get by advertising on your blog.
  • Offer different kind of ads and decide how much it cost.
  • Tell advertiser how to contact you.

By following steps above you bring out a very good advertising page that will work for sure to help you earn more money from your website or blog.

It could help also if you just copy my advertising page and edit it to add your website or blog details, then publish it, I don’t mind you do that.

Nice post. I removed the ad page from my main sites but that’s a different story. Good advice on researching other blogs before building the page. The only thing I would add is testimonials if you have any. Testimonials from other advertisers can help a lot.

Very cool of you to allow others to copy and paste yours btw.

@ – Brian – I didn’t think about the testimonials, this is a good idea, I will add if I have some in feature.

I allow people to copy everything since it’s not an invention, and it exist on the internet that means it’s to share with everybody!

Thank you for your value comment!

Great tip. I don’t think this can work for Blogger though. I think I read that Google will take your blog of the listings if you sell ad apace. I could be wrong though.
