Is Mahalo Answers a New Generation of Social Networking?

I recently joined Mahalo.com, it’s a very nice website to get knowledge people and making money at same time by giving the best answer for questions by the members, I have dreamed lots to put my hands on one of these websites with new ideas like earning money from searching for a good answer to member questions.


First of all I like the way the editorial team works, they have a very nice touch! The way they congratulate me for getting the first level when I got the “Yellow Belt with a Green Tip” was very interesting, they asked me two direct questions to help me earn a few Mahalo Dollars and promote their service as well as giving my feedback. I must say the Team behind Mahalo.com rocks, they are keeping up a creative work.

Thinks I like about Mahalo Answers:

  • I like the idea of “Mahalo Dollar” as a currency for the community, and the reflection of involving money in it, it makes the answer more powerful, because everybody is trying to reach the best answer and earn the Dollars, this is great!
  • I like also the tips that shows when you answer a question, it’s very nice one even if you see it every time you answer a question, it’s cool thing that make you feel that you are close to make money from answering the question!
  • I like the way they involved Twitter and getting questions or answers in Twitts, smart use of other social networks!
  • I like the home page, well organized, and I like to see my earnings on every page like the same way I can see it on Mahalo.com
  • Replying to member answers or commenting on the answers is a great adventure, I love Ajax , fast enough to encourage you to use it often. I love also drop down menu options that help you to add additional information about the answers.

There is lots of thing to talk about, I may not finish :) I said it before and I will say it again, “I see a dream of mine coming true!”.

Getting Traffic from Mahalo Answers

I Think this could happen some how, so I searched about the topic and I found out that by asking some questions about your website or blog could bring you a direct traffic for your website while members is searching for it. So maybe this could give you some ideas on how to do Online Marketing on Mahalo.com

And Finally the question is: Do you think Mahalo.com Answers is going to be a new generation of social networking that makes you earn money?!

    p/s : sometimes thinking to build own social community but it’s surely hard to be maintained.

    @alone, Sure it is, I made a few M$ by answering questions, it’s easy to earn from it. I am sure that someone like you will do great and will find lots of questions that is calling you to put the answer!

    by the way, I have tried to build and run my own community, the problem is that with the development, the main challenge is how to manage it, I don’t have enough time for doing all the moderation, supporting, or editorial tasks alone!

    it’s so hard thing to do unless you give it a full time! because this needs a working team.

    I’m looking for tutor site where I can learn to build a community or social networking. And I’ve no partner in exploring these things.

    DO you use this site? I always wonder when I see sites like this if anyone actually makes any money doing it. It sounds too good to be true.
