This sad news motivated me to publish this post here on my personal blog, I was shocked today when I heard about the big open strike of IslamOnline employees that started since yesterday and still running at the moment of writing this post and promote it on Social Media, the basic reason behind it was that journalists and editors of the famous media website IslamOnline.net was threatened by their new management at Qatar to layoff all the 250 employees from their jobs in a blank of an eye!
I am writing this post to tell you all about it, they have started an official blog for IslamOnline Employees strike, so who ever like to help on promoting this blog to reach more people on the inter plz do it, there is also another post I have published on my other blog about IslamOnline Employees strike that has more details and photos. I believe that social media will play a big role on helping them to reach their goal.
I actually heard from my mates there that a lawyer is waiting to get an official authorization to give all 250 employees their rights, so probably this will be done by tomorrow but now one will leave the company building till everything is done. The employees are asking for (6 month of salary plus a month for each year they have been working for IslamOnline).

I am a former employee of IslamOnline.net and I hate what’s happening with my fellows and workmates today even if I am not there with them. actually the office will be closed at any how, they will be with out a job, and all what they are asking for is something to help them facing the challenges of living!

I guess social media is playing a very important role to unify all opinions about a problem of the event, So we need more and more activating this role to every one.
We can get a moral lesson that social media as a means to solve many problems.

social media has always been proved to be useful in building network but it is not really fair in all circumstances.
Very sad to hear. I’m sure there were a lot of good people working there and that they put their best efforts forth for their employer. Losing a job can be a difficult thing, but it can also be the start of something new and great. I’m sure it’s hard to imagine that at the time, but with goals in mind and solid effort to accomplish them, they will be able to get back on their feet.

Social media has also helped a lot of companies bridge the gap when every other medium has failed. Great post man cos i am loving the details here.
