On this post I will talk about my Awards from Mixx community, there is a nice page on Mixx made specially for Awards, it show all Awards that you have got regarding successful submission decided by the Mixx community, I was checking my Award page on Mixx today and thought to right about it and link back to my successful submissions to Award it.
Mixx is a user-driven social media web site that serves to help users submit or find content by peers based on interest and location.
I will give you now the links of my Awarded submissions to Mixx community:
Conversation Starter Awards:
- There were two Awards for the same submission for starting the conversation as this submission got 77 comments on 2 hours or so, and believe me it was the worst submission I ever did. And all the community was against me!
- The third award was for a post about Yusuf Al Qaradawi when media claimed that he descried Obama as a Soft Touch Snake! This submission had 35 comments because some people didn’t understand my translation to the word “Soft Touch Snake” as English is not my native Language!
Top Ten Awards
- Award on a post I wrote talking about why I hate loans in the Middle East.
- Award on post about BlogRush shutting down with out making a single penny.
- Award on news post about Stockholm Police when they announce the arrest of the Lebanese singer George Wassouf.
Most Contentious Awards
- Award won on story about Twitter Clone Open Source, published on my very long blog roll Babel Talk. but they deleted it already from the community.
- Award won on story from my friend Kai under the title of How To Rank Number One On Google.
Other Awards Won
- 5 Enthusiast Awards
- 5 Hyperactive Awards

I will never forget that funny mistakes I did when I first joined to Mixx community, this mistake was about to kick me out of the community, I was like Digging a page to Mixx

Although I’m on Mixx, and I do submit and vote on stories, I haven’t gotten very into it in terms of even noticing awards… but congrats on all the awards.

Congrats on your trophies! I’ve been using Mixx for about 6 months now and was really surprised to find my account was banned yesterday. I’m not sure what I did to get kicked off but all that they told me was that one of my sub violated their terms, yet there are many other subs on there doing worst that I did. I tried to get a formal response from them, but nothing came back. I ended up having to create a new profile and start building my friends and contact again. It’s really frustrating for a person to spend so much time on something only to find it gone and not even sure why it happened in the first place. I’m back on again today, but many of my posts that are also ranked really well in the search engines are all dead links now. What a shame! Needless to say, use this site with caution and don’t try to do too much as it might get you kicked off as well.
