I got surprised when I was opening my favorite blog to get the latest tips from the blogging world today , I was really surprised from what I sow, for the first time since I start browsing Problogger and never sow an error!
Who can say that Successful blogs have no errors?
Of course I can understand why this kind or errors happen, there is some different reasons to see this error message when browsing the blog, in this case I think it was a temporary problem with the hosting service of Problogger, and this happen lots all the time when a server is down or not reachable for a few seconds of minutes.
But what really matters is I want to be sure that these errors is not harmful for our blogs, I am not sure if this kind of errors effect the traffic and making you lose your visitors for a while. Just hope this doesn’t happen when you are about to publish some important post, or you have just started to promote a post and this effect the plan you made!
Maybe this is ot a big deal for a very famous blog that has thousands of hits everyday! but what about new blogs that you have just started and want it to grow? if this conseder a big issue?

I don’t think it is a big problem. In three years I was with my host, MySQL database came down twice. When I asked, the management told me that it happens, although rarely.
