Why I have More Than One Blog?

by on February 16, 2009

I was thinking about the great number of blogs on the internet, and thought maybe there is a number of people like me who own more than one blog, just thinking if bloggers who have one blog is more than who runs a number of blogs, and how they can handle their blogs if there is too much to do publishing posts, and organizing the blogs, and reply to your commenters, and other stuff related to blogs.

I know it’s not easy but also it’s not impossible, because I am doing it, but why I thought about having more than one blog?!

But why I have more than one blog?

I am from those people who runs more than one blog, and reason of that is that I use them to promote each other and get more traffic than the traffic I would get if I am just posting on one blog.  this is the way I have doubled my blog traffic during one year  from 200 hits and up to 1000+ hits on all of my blogs, I know this is not a great number, but to be in Page Rank of “4″ this is what I am talking about. Great traffic numbers need more time.

There is no big secret behind how I did that, but maybe you just don’t know about it,  probably because you don’t think you have enough time for posting on more than one blog, but let me tell you why I did that and hot a great results on my blogs traffic, it’s all about promoting , yes.. with more than one blog I am able  to promote my blogs, but I first must be sure that I am not copying my self, so when ever there is a chance to link to one of my other blogs or I remember an old post related to what I write, I just link to it, so in that way I was able to double my traffic , and here I am talking about all my blogs traffic together, I could do that by redirecting my readers always to something they probably would love to read about on my other blogs.

This is how I could attract some advertisers to offer me long term advertisements on my blogs for their clients,  I am sure they have checked my Blog Page Rank, because they think exactly like the way I think about my blogs, that they are doing good, and they will grow in the coming year.

Here is a list of my other blogs, maybe you would like to see how I am doing on them:

Of course I wouldn’t create those blogs unless I love to psot on them, but babel Talk blog, is not actually a blog by the meaning, but for me it’s like a big blog roll.

So.. What about you? Do you have more than one blog? Hit the comment button and link to them here, I would like to know what you like to write about on your blogs and how you use them to promote each other.

I posted my blog links and various efforts on your BlogCatalog forum. You are an original, hesham. I work hard and want to increase blog traffic, but I am devoted to fiction. Fiction blogs are growing on the internet but I’m afraid they will always be a tiny niche. In many ways, fiction always has been. If anything, it’s losing popularity; people can find so many other ways to enjoy stories. Reading requires deeper concentration than watching a video, but I believe it gives you a deeper connection, too. (Not everyone thinks this way.)
Thank you, though, for helping me. Your presence and projects have done a great deal to pull in hits for me.

@ Kathleen, You are a good writer and have a great imagination, this is why you could keep people on your blog reading. Also fiction by nature attract people who like to read and they come often to visit your blog again. I personally visit your blog often when I have time.

I believe of reading, this maybe because an old story Happened in the older ages, but I believe of this story and I believe of reading as the main source for Knowledge!

Anyways.. I have started my first blog and named My Life Thinking to make it open for all kind of topics, not limited to something specific, then the next step for me is to personalize my new blogs.

I wish you the best always, and thank you for your comment.
