Probably this is an idea came to some of us, specially that Jeeves was not available for long time on the battle of search engines, and Google was the number one winner.
Why I need to Ask Jeeves? Why I will be a fan of his new Facebook page? Or follow him on Twitter? Let’s see what Jeeves will say if we ask him!
Let’s ask Jeeves why he is here?!
He said:
Glad you asked. The simple answer is I’m back to help.
I popped out three years ago to travel the world in a quest for knowledge and I’ve returned to Blighty armed with answers. During my sojourn research showed the public wanted me back, which I found jolly touching. And in that time the engineers toiled hard to make the site look better, work harder and be more personal…just like yours truly! I realise the questions are different now. Back in 2006 you wanted to know about spending money, now you want to know about saving it. That’s why I’ve teamed up with TV’s moneysaving expert Jasmine Birtles to bring you ten ways to save money, if I may. And don’t forget to pop back and see me on the site throughout this week, I have some terrific prizes to give away!
I read this post on the Mashable blog about Jeeves and his return, I think it’s a good read, so I went to ask Jeeves page and wanted to know the answer to this question, why he is here?! Now .. I know!
I was a fan of Jeeves before and I am still because, I liked the logo, I liked the idea of asking and getting answers! I have use Jeeves lots before Google, What about you? did you like Ask Jeeves or use it before? Do you prefer to use Google?
Be a fan of Jeeves on Facebook and follow Jeeves on Twitter.
I like Jeeves. Just the asking of a question rather than simply keywords. enjoy pjc

Yeah, I like Jeeves! But I guess because I’ve gotten so used to Google – not to mention how integrated Google is in the way I use the internet now – I don’t think I’ll go back to Jeeves. But it’s cool that it’s back!
Adrenalynn’s last blog post..So this morning I tiptoed outside in the freezing cold, barefoot and wearing nothing but my hot pink grandma-style terrycloth bathrobe to bring you this breathtaking view from my living room.

I like Jeeves, and use to use it a lot before but like many I am just so used to google and well, I don’t see my self using any other search engine.

Bring on the Jeeves! I think the ask.com site is a really good search engine and it’s a shame that more people don’t use. They provide so much more data than just 10 blue links that it really is one of the best searches on the web right now. I think that bringing back Jeeves will help with branding and remind people what their search is all about.

I’m a Google addict for the most part, but when I have a specific question instead of just keywords, I pop over to Jeeves.
